All fabrics purchased for built items were ombré dyed. Some with a single color on the original fabric, some were over-dyed one color then ombré died with a different color, and one was ombréd with color remover in one direction then ombréd with dye in the opposite direction. Some costumes feature hand painting or airbrush stenciling.

Lace was dyed to be within a range of a rust color that was inspired by the color palette of the set.
